This room, newly opened to the public in 2003, contains information boards and artefacts resulting from the work of Dr Brian Hope-Taylor in the 1960's and 1970's and The Bamburgh Research Project with their ongoing work.There is also a childs activity area.
Several of the illustrations are those prepared for the BBC's Meet the Ancestors program, for more information about this program see the archaeology section on this site.
Notable artefacts are added to the room after conservation work has been carried out, so there is year by year an ever growing and variety of objects.
