Butcher – Established 1887 Makers of Northumbria’s finest sausage ‘The Northumbrian Bamburgh Banger.’ Finalist in the Champion of Champions Competition. Carters are a business committed to the highest quality of service and produce. Our beef is all grass fed British beef and hung to your requirements. Our lambs are sourced from local farms and all carry the sign of Farm Assurance. All our pork is free range, where we obtain the meat for our home cured bacon, hams and sausages. From our smokehouse we produce a fine oak-smoked sausage and bacon, which are very popular with our customers. All our pies are made and baked on the premises as are all our roast and boiled meats, black and white puddings and haggis. Bread is baked daily in our ovens and a comprehensive selection of wines and cheese are available.
