The Sunningdale offers you comfortable, good quality and excellent value guest accommodation in the beautiful coastal village of Bamburgh.

The Sunningdale has 21 en-suite bedrooms all comfortably furnished with colour televisions, complimentary refreshments and toiletries and superb views of the castle and coast, Bamburgh village or stunning country landscape.

We have single, double, twin and family rooms for up to 5 people situated across three floors. In 2007 we opened 3 brand new ground floor bedrooms, one of which is a suite with private conservatory area overlooking the village. Anyone struggling with mobility or requiring a wheelchair some of the time would find these rooms accessible.

The communal area of The Sunningdale consists of a stunning bright café lounge which is a coffee shop ‘Cakes Cakes Cakes’ during the day with a range of cakes to tempt anyone’s taste buds. The café lounge offers residents a modern and comfortable place to relax and enjoy a drink or read a paper throughout the evening.

Our lounge is also host to a fabulous gallery of superb photographs and prints of the local area by a local photographer.

‘A Taste of Northumberland’ is our new licensed restaurant with glass dome ceiling offering a beautiful eating experience, from the environment to the superb home made food specialising in local ingredients. Open to non-residents.
