Armstrong & Aviation Museum
Housed in the West Ward and constructed of whinstone, the laundry was built to meet the needs of the convalescence home Lord Armstrong dreamed
this building houses the Armstrong and Aviation Artefacts Museum. This tells some of the remarkable achievements of the first Lord Armstrong
and his trail blazing engineering career as well as housing aviation artefacts from two world wars.
