The Neville Tower
Formally the Smith Tower and Smith Gate, this tower is now named after the Lord of Warwick, Richard Neville, who was responsible for Bamburgh's
downfall in the 1464 siege. This siege resulted in Bamburgh being the first castle in England to fall to cannon fire.
The Neville Tower has been
completely rebuilt on the medieval foundations and is now a holiday let available to holiday makers who want to spend a few nights in this
