Public Rooms

From the entrance to the exit, approximately 16 rooms and passages are passed through. Armour, arms, porcelain, pictures and furiture are displayed in these rooms and the passageways that connect them. The use of many of the rooms has changed radically over the years and several periods of restoration. No attempt has been made to log every nook and ornament... there has to be something left to make a visit worthwhile and it really is!
