Captain Red
Born on the neighbours decking in Tamworth
Ruthless scallywag and stamp collector.
Joined the crew of the Mary Rose but had an incident trying to steal a cannon.
Went on to terrorise the Jamaicas with his close harmony yodelling.
A man not to be trifled with or trusted near anything shiny or chocolatey.
Do not approach. May very well bore you to death with tales of his exploits.
Known as red due to the Queen of Sheba and a red favour she gave him as he stole her heart!! (Allegedly)
And
Captain Darrius Ironbeard, the jolliest and most daring pirate to ever sail the seven seas! Standing tall at 6 foot 1, with a big, bushy beard as shiny as treasure itself, Captain Ironbeard is a larger-than-life character who loves adventure, laughter, and, of course, treasure hunting!
Captain Ironbeard didn’t always have his famous peg leg. Some say it was taken by a fearsome shark after a fierce sea battle, in truth it t’was removed by an ill- tempered Sea Bass after a Rum soaked session!
But don’t let that fool you—he can still stomp around the deck faster than any landlubber!
He’s the proud captain of the Black Tooth, a ship that’s as fast as the wind and painted in crimson and black, colours as Dark as the Captains soul! (A cunning ploy as he’s actually quite nice really)
So everyone knows when Captain Ironbeard is on his way. He’s famous for his booming laugh that can be heard from miles away and his love of telling tall tales about sea monsters, buried treasure, and magical islands.
But don’t worry—Captain Ironbeard isn’t a scary pirate; he’s a friendly one! He loves helping young adventurers (that’s you!) find treasure and solve riddles. He’s always got a twinkle in his eye and a map in his hand, ready to lead the way to the next big discovery. His favourite saying is:
‘A pirate’s life is full of fun, and treasure’s best when shared by everyone!’
