Depending on the season, crownings may take place in either the King’s Hall (during the off season) or alternatively, outside at the stone throne (May- Sep).
Dogs welcome on most of the tour, but not inside the King’s Hall
Whilst exploring the grounds, visitors should note, that some paths become steep or uneven and therefore would not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
During extreme weather, tours may be cancelled for safety reasons. If Bamburgh Castle cancel a tour, we’ll help you move your tickets to a new date or provide a refund if rescheduling can’t be arranged.
