We are closing the State Rooms a little earlier on the 13th June due to a private event and last admission into the State Rooms will be at 2.30pm (rather than 4.15pm)
If you are visiting us on this date please ensure you enter the State Rooms before the door closes at 2.30pm

Clocktower Cafe and Tack Room will remain open as usual and visitors can still enjoy the Viking Market in the West Ward until 4.45pm but access will be restricted to the Inner Ward and Battery Terrace areas from 4.30pm onwards

If you wish to visit Bamburgh Castle please purchase tickets at our admissions office on arrival - online tickets are not available to purchase for this date

Merchants from across the Anglo-Saxon and Viking kingdoms have gathered in Bebbanburg for two unforgettable days of immersive history, live demonstrations, and – of course – the chance to part you from your hard-earned coin!

Browse bustling stalls filled with authentic wares, discover traditional crafts brought to life before your eyes, and soak up the sights, sounds, and stories of a bygone age.

With traders travelling from far and wide, this promises to be a truly fascinating event — a vibrant celebration of history you won’t want to miss.
