We are closing the State Rooms a little earlier on the 13th June due to a private event and last admission into the State Rooms will be at 2.30pm (rather than 4.15pm)
If you are visiting us on this date please ensure you enter the State Rooms before the door closes at 2.30pm
Clocktower Cafe and Tack Room will remain open as usual and visitors can still enjoy the Viking Market in the West Ward until 4.45pm but access will be restricted to the Inner Ward and Battery Terrace areas from 4.30pm onwards
If you wish to visit Bamburgh Castle please purchase tickets at our admissions office on arrival - online tickets are not available to purchase for this date
There’s so much to discover at Bamburgh Castle — from birds soaring overhead to bunnies in the grass, and even dolphins and deer waiting to be spotted!
Join artist Gabrielle Bassett for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll craft your very own personalised pair of binoculars. Decorate them in your own unique style, then set off on an exciting castle adventure to see what wildlife you can find.
Your exploration starts here — what will you discover?
This activity is included in general admission to the castle
Dates of this event:
May 24th & 30th
August 22nd & 23rd
Bamburgh Castle reserve the right to cancel this event
