On selected days from February – October, Marley the miniature Shetland pony will be spending the day at Bamburgh Castle, taking part in some unique family friendly activities. Visitors will have the opportunity to groom Marley, take him for a short walk and receive a hoofprint keepsake. Marley is a star of stage and screen, regularly featuring in theatre shows, parades, re-enactments and historical demonstrations. He has even appeared on TV shows such as Countryfile and Come Dine With Me!
Dates Marley will be at Bamburgh Castle:
Admission tickets to Bamburgh Castle must be purchased to be able to see Marley.
Marley will be walking the grounds from 10am-11am.
From 11am-2pm he can be found in his luxury pen situated in the Inner Ward.
Entry into the pen is priced at £2.50 per child.
Please note that all children entering Marley’s pen must have adult supervision and the activities are not suitable for children under 2 years old.
Bamburgh Castle and Marley’s owners reserve the right to cancel any activities if we feel as though Marley is unsafe or unhappy during his time at Bamburgh Castle.
