Some Vikings are due to land and set up camp. They have been invited to meet the King for the ‘Eostre’ spring celebration at Bamburgh Castle to welcome the return of light and warmth. Eostre was a Norse goddess linked to spring, dawn and fertility.

Meet them in the inner ward were they are preparing a feast for the royal party, showing off their wares to establish trade links and the herbalist is on hand for any afflictions the royal household may have.
