Created by acclaimed theatrical designer Charlotte Lloyd Webber and her award-winning event design team, enter a spellbinding world of Treasured Tales this Christmas at Bamburgh Castle!
Legend has it Bamburgh Castle is the spot where you can find a tropical Christmas paradise overflowing with glistening gold, colourful jewels and magical adventures and maybe a special visitor from much colder lands! Wander in wonder on an enchanted trail through much-loved childhood stories brought to life by the award-winning team at Charlotte Lloyd-Webber Event Design. A dazzling Christmas experience that promises joy for all.
Open daily from Saturday November 8th 2025 until Sunday January 4th 2026 10am – 4pm
From 13 November – 18 December, Bamburgh Castle will be opening later on Thursday evenings to give visitors the chance to experience the installation in the magical atmosphere of nightfall, when it truly comes to life. On these Thursdays, last admission will be at 6:30pm, with the castle closing at 7:30pm.
Free with general admission.
Treasured Tales is included with normal admission and therefore is free for annual pass holders and Historic Houses members. HHA members do not need to book ahead, please come along to the ticket office with your membership card to be scanned.
