Please ensure you have a copy of your ticket/email with you before arriving for your visit. This can be on a device or printed.
Tickets are non-refundable. If for any reason you need to discuss a booking cancellation with us, please do so before arriving onsite.
Tickets cannot be transferred, swapped or exchanged. For any repeat visits, a separate authorised slip must be provided.
Original ticket must be presented on day of visit for entry. You may be requested to show a form of identification alongside your online ticket. Tickets are valid for selected day of visit only, regrettably we cannot allow entry on tickets other than the booked date.
Tickets have no monetary value. Tickets must not be re-sold. Not valid for our special ticketed events throughout the year. Tickets cannot be used as part of a school visit. Tickets not valid in conjunction with group rates. Lost tickets can only be replaced with a proof of purchase. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. Online tickets cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/voucher or discount code. Online tickets must be shown on arrival via smart phone device or printed paper version.
Please note that due to the current Covid situation we will be carefully monitoring the numbers of online tickets purchased and reserve the right to restrict access into the castle in order to ensure social distancing can be safely managed at all times.
If the date you wish to visit is highlighted pink this means that the online allocation of tickets has sold out for this day.
To offer a pre-booking facility, we have had to change the way our tickets are listed. If you are visiting as a family you will still enjoy the same saving as our former online ‘Family Ticket’ when purchasing two adults and three dependants which will be calculated on your ticket purchase.
You are welcome to buy tickets on the door, but you do need to be aware that we currently have a maximum capacity that we are enforcing. If you arrive and we are at this capacity, we do stop admitting walk ups for a period of time. We have a small allocation of tickets we can sell on opening at 10am, and a much larger allocation in the afternoon. These are sold on a first come, first served basis.
If you are disabled and require a ticket for you and your carer, please visit the ticket office on the day you wish to visit. You will be guaranteed entry, even if we are at our capacity. Please be aware however that disabled parking is very limited and cannot be guaranteed. Speak to the attendant on arrival and they can advise.
Please check the website for updates.
